Research
Research and scholarly activity are integral components of the Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women Obstetrics & Gynecology residency program. Our program is committed to fostering an environment of inquiry that advances the science and practice of women's health. Residents are encouraged to engage in research endeavors that span clinical, translational, and quality improvement domains, supported by faculty mentorship and institutional resources.
Through this commitment, residents develop critical skills in study design, data analysis, and scientific communication, preparing them for lifelong contributions to academic medicine and evidence-based practice. Resident research is disseminated annually at the Graduate Medical Education Research Symposium and is frequently presented at regional and national Obstetrics and Gynecology conferences, underscoring the program's dedication to advancing knowledge and improving patient care.
Below is a showcase of resident presentations, reflecting the creativity, hard work, and commitment to excellence that define our program.
